Obsessive thoughts can induce a person to act both negatively and positively. It all depends on the awareness of these thoughts.
First, let's define what a thought is. Thought is a plan, idea or essence of something that is formed into sentences for transmission to other people. Thoughts are the trigger for human actions. They can inspire a person to act, and they can even kill.
Where do thoughts come from? The basis of thought is the image that is in the inside of a person. The image itself is neutral, but a person attaches importance to the image, which leads him to an assessment. An attitude appears that can be either positive or negative.
If a person attaches a negative meaning to an image, then thoughts will carry a negative meaning for a person. All negative thoughts are categorized as “bad”. Now remember the very process of upbringing, in which everything bad is always forbidden. From childhood, a person develops a psychological mechanism that blocks topics classified as “bad”.
We have heard the expression that thought is material. This means that a simple mechanism operates in the world, which has no exceptions and manifests itself in everything - this is the birth from the small and imperceptible to the large and visible development. As a tree grows out of a seed, so a material object grows out of thought. Any thought that is born, according to the law of the universe, develops and becomes tangible and visible. But when a person forbids his thoughts, they begin to accumulate until they accumulate such an amount that an avalanche will carry away the psychological prohibition set by the person. So such a pile of thoughts becomes obsessive thoughts. The more obsessive thoughts, the more difficult it is to contain and fight them. Yes, and the struggle with him will only give strength to obsessive thoughts, which over time will manifest themselves uncontrollably, causing damage or trouble in life to the person himself.
It is necessary to weaken obsessive thoughts, and the prohibition, which is based on a negative assessment, gives them strength. When a negative assessment is removed, then it will be possible to control thoughts. We identify the most intrusive thought, and allow ourselves to consider it as both bad and good. Thought acquires a neutral meaning, which helps in the future to see the secret forbidden desire of a person. Having understood his desire, which a person forbids himself, then the reason for creating obsessive thoughts is removed. It is enough for a person to realize that such a desire exists and to allow it to manifest itself favorably for himself.
Obsessive thoughts are thoughts that manifest through a distorted worldview and acquire the opposite meaning of desire itself, which often frightens the person himself.
Only awareness of yourself and your thoughts makes it possible to become the master of your life.
