Motivation that comes from within does not need nourishment. To find it, you simply need to find your own occupation. Try it and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Your kind of physical activity, which you will never want to part with, can be found even in adulthood.

In the end, your personal achievements will become the incentive that will not allow you to retreat a single step. Compare what you have now with the situation in previous years. Surely you have become better, stronger, or even could not have imagined a few years ago that today you can achieve such impressive sports results.

Competitive spirit

Healthy competition is most often able to move even someone who did not plan to go far. If you are a rather adventurous and addicted person, do not be afraid to compare yourself to others. It is generally accepted that the most effective "race for the leader". Of course, in most cases this is so: the desire to be better than others is not only natural for many athletes, but also actively cultivated in this environment. For a confident athlete, someone else's success should be a motivating, not a destructive factor. Analyze the technique of your opponents, note important training details for yourself, take an example from the most worthy ones.

There is a recognized leader in almost every sports direction. Keep this image in your mind. Make it your goal, if not to surpass this person, then at least as close as possible to his achievements.

However, newcomers to sports may well compare themselves with those who do nothing at all. Healthy snobbery is not shameful in this case, but will only help you not to stop. For example, you have been jogging for several months, you see major changes for the better in your health, but regular training is hard for you. Take a look at your peers who are overweight, much less active, and you will get a good incentive not to stop.
