When purchasing a home, you cannot know in advance what kind of people you are going to live with. With a fortunate coincidence, your communication may be limited to greetings and courtesies. However, conflicts often arise with neighbors. In order not to swear, you should behave in a certain way.

Instructions

Step 1

When moving into a new home, be equally polite to everyone. Try to understand what is the order of the house or apartment complex. Don't try to immediately set your own rules and change what you don't like. If there is a tenant meeting where important issues are discussed, participate at least as a listener. Are the neighbors raising money to repair or install an intercom? Do not stand aside, even if a collective decision was made before your arrival.

Step 2

Follow the generally accepted standards of living. Do not make noise after a time when it is prohibited by law. Dispose of garbage in the usual way: for example, if people sort waste in a residential complex, do not neglect this practice either. Of course, obvious disturbances on your part and disrespect for others (parking on the lawn, smoking in the stairwell, loud music at night) can cause an inevitable scandal with neighbors.

Step 3

Be more tolerant of the little things that you might quarrel with with your neighbors. If you do not like that the grandmother from the next apartment has a lot of pets, and the children on the floor above make too much noise in the daytime, this is not a reason to make trouble. If the behavior of people living in the same house with you does not contradict the law and common sense, you should not get involved in a conflict. Try to do so as to minimize personal injury. Of course, there are situations when one cannot stand aside. For example, if drunken companies are constantly gathering in one of the apartments or fights are arranged, you should not interfere and solve these problems personally. However, you may well notify the district or social services.

Step 4

If the neighbors you don't like are emphatically seeking your friendship, be as neutral as possible. An increased desire to gain confidence may hide subsequent requests for a loan or a banal desire to gossip. At the same time, the neighbors with whom you have warm friendships can become your friends in the future. In this case, mutual assistance and joint tea drinking will be an excellent bonus of living in a good place.
