All are subject to the midlife crisis. It is associated with a reassessment of life values, goals, meanings. Psychologists say that you should not be afraid of a crisis. If only simply because it, like any other crisis, will pass. But still, how to survive the midlife crisis with the least losses?
Instructions
Step 1
Do not look back and do not count the years lived. Feel stagnant in your everyday life? You should learn something new: play tennis, drive a car, eat oriental food with chopsticks. Finally, take up painting or operatic vocals. In Europe, for example, many people, having lived up to retirement, enter and study at universities in order to finally master the profession they dreamed of. Move forward - this is the only correct anti-crisis program.
Step 2
Don't put off your desires and dreams for later. There is no need to persuade yourself: the children will grow up, then I will start going to the fitness center; initially I’ll earn money for housing, and then I’ll go to rest in the Canary Islands. Delayed Life Syndrome is a very scary thing! It is he who can turn into a terrible crisis for you, when the feeling that the best years have been wasted does not leave for a minute. Untapped opportunities will make you regret the past years at a broken trough. Realize what you have dreamed of for so long. Learn to dance, jump with a parachute, relax in exotic countries. Fulfilled desires will greatly delight and cheer you up.
Step 3
Do not allow any negative thoughts about old age and illness. Think about your health first. Lead an active lifestyle by giving up your bad habits. After all, you need to be ready to resist old age. Go in for sports. It may sound trite, but it has a tremendous deep meaning. Overcoming inertia and rejoicing in their small victories over their body, sad thoughts will recede. Surviving a midlife crisis is possible without any loss! Live every day, appreciate every moment of your life. Take care of the quality of your life and yourself, and then no crisis will take you captive.
