Life consists not only of joyful events, sometimes every person has setbacks and troubles. It is absolutely impossible not to perceive such incidents, but winding yourself up, constantly remembering what happened is also not an option.
Instructions
Step 1
It happens that the day does not work out, and everything goes wrong in the morning. Do not blame only yourself for what is happening, failures happen in everyone's life, you should not take them so painfully.
Step 2
Do not try to force out an unpleasant situation from your consciousness, anyway, sooner or later, you will probably have to return to it. Better analyze what happened and draw conclusions, what is your mistake. The sooner you can find a solution to a problem, the less trouble it will cause you.
Step 3
Do not try on unpleasant situations and troubles for yourself. If someone has grief, empathize and shift your focus. You don't need to involve other people's problems in your life.
Step 4
Release your pent-up discontent. Sometimes it is enough to speak out or slam the door and bad thoughts leave you.
Step 5
Stop thinking about failure, everyone knows that thought is material, so why wish yourself bad?
Step 6
Remember joyful events more often, live for today, do not allow yourself to constantly think about bad things.
Step 7
Give yourself extra attention, do not deprive yourself of a delicious dinner, socializing with friends, a pleasant bath or a trip to the theater. Little joys are the surest way to conquer negative thoughts.
Step 8
A very effective way to defeat bad thoughts is to set aside time for them. Let's say you chase away these reflections throughout the week, and on Thursday from 5 to 6 pm you think about all the troubles that have been bothering you all week. This method eliminates unnecessary anxiety, and the allocated hour can be spent studying problems and finding solutions. To do this, take paper and write down your worries and concerns, and next to it are possible ways out of the situation.
Step 9
Whichever method you choose to overcome unpleasant thoughts, remember not to chase away bad thoughts, but to fight them. Replace bad judgments and attitudes in relation to life with good assessments of what is happening and looking for positive things around you. Only with this approach will you be able to regain peace of mind and comfort.
