First of September. For all schoolchildren, this day is always associated with a new stage in life, regardless of what year it is. And what about first graders! For them, this is a completely new independent stage.
The first year, the child enthusiastically goes to school, does his homework and rejoices at new discoveries. But as a rule, this period of inspiration ends by the second year of study. The load becomes more and more and, if you do not take action, then it is possible that the child will not be able to overcome all his desires and he will have big problems with his studies.
Very often, when a similar situation occurs, parents do not try to understand the essence of the problem and do not try to figure out why the child has ceased to study well. This is fraught with scandals, screams, punishments and the remoteness of the child from mom and dad at very important periods of life.
Understanding the reason why the child stopped reaching for knowledge is the primary thing that parents should do.
There may be several reasons:
- It is possible that your child simply cannot get along in a team. He may be teased, bullied, or even beaten. Try to take a closer look at the environment, it is possible that the reason lies precisely in this.
- There are times when a conflict situation arises between a teacher and a student. In primary grades, where the teacher teaches most disciplines, this problem can be fundamental in order to discourage the desire to study and attend classes.
- One of the most serious reasons lies in the subconscious of the child. Parents who demand good grades, exemplary behavior and success in everything, often give the child the installation to completely reject negative results. Thus, the student cannot cope with the thought that he does not understand something, and in order not to get a deuce, he simply will not go to school. Later, this problem moves from the category of disappointment in their abilities, into complete indifference to everything related to study.
There are three main reasons why a child does not feel comfortable at school. The task of the parents is to find out which situation is most likely in their situation. In no case should you intimidate a child, shout at him and influence him emotionally. Act adequately, listen to him, and remember that throughout life you are the most important friend and must enter into all situations of the child and be able to resolve them.
