Few people with whom we communicate every day can be called sincere. Most of them will never tell the truth in person, and these are still seeds compared to those who want to get something from us by indirect methods. To see right through people, it is enough to follow a few simple rules.
Instructions
Step 1
Be skeptical about everything. It is not necessary to perceive everything as an obvious lie, but a share of skepticism is needed when analyzing incoming information and rechecking in especially important cases.
Step 2
Try to make as clear psychological portraits of your interlocutors as possible. Study the literature on behavioral psychology and on manipulating people in order to know when a particular technique is being used against you.
Step 3
Every word that a person says has a motive - it must be clearly traced. In most cases, a person pursues the same motives, and if you see that a motive that is clear is out of the general list, be on your guard. The option in which the motive is not clearly traced deserves double attention.
Step 4
Ask people directly about what exactly they want from you, what they want to achieve. As a rule, if a person's thoughts are pure, then he will not think for a long time and will directly declare his goal and your role in achieving it, but if you see that a person is choosing words and doubts - do not take what he says on faith, analyze his phrase based on his needs in the here and now.
Step 5
Practice communicating with people as much as possible. The more you communicate, the easier it is for you to distinguish between the manifestations of human lies and the easier it is for you to reveal hidden thoughts.
