Any attempt to define the concept of happiness seems completely foolish. A person himself perfectly understands when he is happy and when he is not. However, people are constantly trying to find a "formula" for happiness and understand what still lies at its basis.

When you are happy, others may not feel the same way. Accordingly, they relate to what is happening differently. This happens because each person has his own subjective attitude to happiness. An individual assessment of events cannot serve as any criterion for this concept. It is preferable to turn to the philosophy of happiness and understand its foundations.

First of all, it consists in enjoying those things that cause sympathy. Then you should avoid or change in the right direction what you don't like. And, finally, one must accept those manifestations of life that cannot be avoided or changed. All this makes a person happy.

Perhaps someone will find it strange advice to enjoy what they like. After all, this is obvious and understandable. However, in reality, everything turns out to be not quite so. Many people do not even notice that, behind the hustle and bustle of every day, they are unaccustomed to enjoying the usual pleasant things. Unresolved conflicts in the family and at work, haste and employment, the impact of unfavorable environmental factors push a person to the fact that he simply ceases to enjoy what he likes, because after that he feels guilty or afraid of the consequences.

The next component of happiness is "escape" from those things that cause rejection. It's simple. Run away from unwanted circumstances and enjoy a happy life. But this is where the catch lies. Do you like your job? Is there someone among the people around you whom you would not like to see? Do you enjoy the food you eat every day? The list of these questions can be continued for a very long time. Therefore, it is impossible to deny the existence of reasons that force you to engage in undesirable things, communicate with people, contact objects that you do not like. The most interesting thing is that with a great desire to be a happy person, he himself finds a lot of ways to justify his "dead-end" inferences and behavior, so as not to change anything.

Try to change the aspects of your life in which you experience discomfort. Of course, this can take time, money, and knowledge. But isn't this a chance to be happy? Let not everything, but something will change, some things will cease to bother you, new opportunities will open up. However, as well as the awareness of those circumstances and manifestations of life that you cannot change. But look at them from different angles. You will surely find that you were wrong and did not see the point. Perhaps you want to accept something, but change something and feel like a happy person.
