If, for various reasons, you are faced with a choice of two alternatives, then this becomes a difficult experience for the psyche. The choice is complicated by the fact that a person perceives these two options as mutually exclusive - either leave everything as it is, or change everything.

But if you look at it from the other side and deeper, then at a certain level these options become not mutually exclusive, but complementary. In addition, inside ourselves we actually know what we want or don’t want, but for some reason we cannot admit this to ourselves, creating a situation of choice, doubt. There is also a third choice - the choice is not to choose. How can all this be brought to a common denominator? You can do a little technique yourself, and it will definitely help you.

1. Take a few deep breaths and tune in to a calm wave, feel how with each inhalation and exhalation your mind opens more and more, the body relaxes, and you can focus on your choices, on the issue of choice.

2. Place both options in your space, determine which option you want to explore.

3. Allow yourself to connect with this option, as if you chose it, move into it, start living it, noticing all the images of the future and yourself in this future, in this first option. Note your feelings, events, needs, resources, which are in this option. Take as much time as you need to do this. Then mentally return to the present.

4. Then explore the second option in the same way, identifying resources, your needs, allowing your unconscious to manifest itself, perhaps metaphors. Note all the pluses and the second option of your choice too.

5. Return to the present and now that you have been through both options, lived them, you can formulate your choice. Also, you may have an additional option. In any case, make a decision internally and allow yourself to take a few steps in the direction of the chosen option and go to three, if possible, events in the future, connecting even more with this option. Mark your state, if you want to fix something, you can do it. Return to the moment of the present.
