Instructions

Step 1

If misfortune befell you, do not try to look to blame for what happened, and, moreover, do not blame yourself for what happened. Try to accept what happened as a test of life. Treat grief as a challenge, find the courage to face it with dignity.

Step 2

Learn to deal with trouble. The very word "experience" means a certain period of life, which has both a beginning and an end. Remember that someday the pain that torments you will end, you just need to endure and learn to live on.

Step 3

Try to stay alone with yourself as little as possible in the first weeks after the incident. Loneliness only drives you into the trap of thoughts about what happened, intensifies mental anguish, leads to self-doubt and self-doubt. The longer you go through grief alone, the more difficult it will be for you later to establish contact with the surrounding reality.

Step 4

Remaining alone, try not to plunge into grief, but detachedly look for the cause of the emptiness that grips you. Perhaps you just feel sorry for yourself and are afraid to accept the responsibility to live a different, new life. In any case, you need to come to terms with what happened - nothing can be returned, all people sooner or later face misfortune, you are not alone in this.

Step 5

Don't suppress your emotions. If you want to cry, cry, it is better to throw out the mental pain than to drive it inside, because someday it will still be splashed out, and the consequences of this can be simply unpredictable. But still try to make your sadness light - remember only good, joyful and happy events.

Step 6

Try to stop using alcohol or tranquilizers. Both bring only temporary relief here and now, but after a while, the internal pain becomes even stronger, depression even deeper, and in the end you can no longer do without auxiliary drugs, which are very dangerous to health.

Step 7

Fill the resulting inner emptiness with caring for someone. It could be anyone, just look around. It is caring for the other, trying to benefit him and happiness that makes us happy. Even helping a complete stranger who has scattered their purchases or money brings joy. Become needed by someone who really needs your help.

Step 8

Take your free time with new things: go somewhere to study or learn something on your own, walk more and most importantly - meet friends. Friends are a mirror of our soul, an indicator of our inner state, they give us support and inspiration for new actions. An honest conversation with a close friend is much more effective than a conversation with a psychologist, to whom you are unlikely to be able to open up to the end.
