Each person perceives the world around him in his own way, creates relationships, collects and analyzes information. Psychologists distinguish 4 main types of thinking: objective, figurative, sign and symbolic. Separately, they highlight creativity, which can be inherent in any person. Determine your type of thinking and in which areas of activity you can be successful.
Instructions
Step 1
Objective thinking is typical for people with a practical mindset. It is typical for you to do first, and then think. Problem solving takes place exclusively on personal experience. You tend to learn only from your own mistakes, and other people's examples do not interest you. You like the creative process: making something, repairing it yourself. They speak about you only as "golden hands". You only perceive facts, material objects and evidence. Inferences, reasoning and logical conclusions are not clear to you. You do not like to explain the reason for your actions, but "just do it, and that's it!" Professions: drivers, dancers, artists, athletes, locksmiths.
Step 2
Creative individuals with an artistic mindset are endowed with figurative thinking. At first, their thought develops into an image, which further prompts them to action. You find it difficult to retell what you have read if you have not mentally presented a picture of what is happening. For a better understanding, you can sketch a picture or diagram of your intended actions. Love to visit exhibitions, festive events. You enjoy beautiful paintings and art, and when you hear familiar music, you can imagine a specific event from your past. Professions: designer, architect, writer, screenwriter, artist, actor, poet, director.
Step 3
Sign thinking develops in people with a humanitarian mindset. A person transforms information by combining concepts and statements into certain conclusions. You have many friends, and you easily communicate with strangers, love noisy companies. You enjoy reading a lot and learning new things. You like to communicate a lot, express your thoughts clearly and consistently and are demanding on the form of expression of the interlocutor's thoughts. Professions: teachers, presenters, journalists, politicians.
Step 4
Symbolic thinking is typical for people with a mathematical mindset. A person perceives information in the form of visual symbols, formulas and structures. You are very good at visual information, literate and capable of learning languages. You are taught the exact sciences with ease and enjoy making calculations. Your attention is drawn to visual images. Professions: economists, physicists, programmers, scientists, mathematicians.
Step 5
Creative thinking can be inherent in any of the above types and is only an additional feature. It is much easier for people with creative thinking to succeed in any endeavor. You have a stupid fantasy, you like to constantly create something and do non-standard actions. You enjoy the process of transformation, and when the goal is achieved, a new "fix idea" appears. You love change and you are not interested in other people's rules and stereotypes of behavior. You like to lead the process and set the rhythm.
