The ability to conduct a conversation seems so natural and commonplace that only a small percentage of people pay sufficient attention to this process. Psychologists, meanwhile, have proven that the use of the simplest speech structures and an elementary understanding of the structure of a conversation can make any person much more attractive in the eyes of others.

Step 1
Consider the personality of the other person. Remember that all people are unique. Before starting a conversation, weigh the temperament of the interlocutor, think about topics that are best avoided, guess how much he wants to talk to you. All this may seem obvious, but usually it is not done. If you mentally replay the situation, it will be much easier to strike up a conversation.
Step 2
Never start a conversation with abstract questions! If you approach a colleague with whom you don't communicate too closely, and ask: "How are you?", It becomes obvious that you approached with a specific goal, and this "easy start" seems far-fetched. A specific reason to strike up a conversation will help you, and the closer it gets to the “real” one, the better. For example, if you are very interested in a person's personal life, you can invite him to a bar and casually ask if he will come alone or with a friend.
Step 3
Formulate questions openly. An inept boss, when communicating with a new employee, will ask: "Do you like it with us?" The problem with the question is that it implies a monosyllabic answer: "Yes", and if the interlocutor is modest enough, he will not squeeze anything out of himself anymore. A much more correct formulation of the same question would be: "How much has changed since your previous place of work?" This question implies a little reasoning that will allow you to take the dialogue further.
Step 4
Check! One of the best ways to lead a conversation is to show interest in the subject of the discussion. Find a topic that a person will willingly talk about (for example, about his hobby) and learn every nuance in detail. If the interlocutor is positively disposed, this will only make him talk. However, be afraid of curiosity where it is not needed. Never insist or question if you see harsh denial from the opposite side.
