Death is a terrible and irreversible phenomenon, bringing pain and chaos to the hearts of those who faced it. And the death of a loved one is a blow for many, especially such an absurd death as suicide. How to survive the suicide of a loved one and learn to enjoy life again?

Instructions

Step 1

It is important to understand that there is nothing you can do to help. The man made his choice, no matter how terrible he was. None of your actions will bring a loved one back to life! But you can bring yourself back to life, learn to smile and enjoy the little things. The first step is forgiveness. Forgive your loved one for the act that he did. Do not delve into the reasons for this act! Do not blame yourself for not preventing suicide and not knowing about such intentions of a loved one. Take a photo of this person and say three times: "I accept your choice. I let you go and forgive!" The Church does not allow suicide funeral services, lighting candles for the repose of their souls and praying for them is unnecessary. So if you want to pray, pray for yourself. Go to church for confession.

Step 2

Find something to do to distract yourself from bad thoughts. Do not keep the pain and negativity in yourself, throw it out! Take a piece of paper, write on it everything that worries you, and tear it to shreds! Go to the forest (just not alone, take your friends as travel companions) and shout. Screaming is a powerful release of energy, both positive and negative. At home, fill your bathtub with water at a comfortable temperature and add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Better at night, as lavender soothes and helps you sleep. It is better not to use sedative and sleeping pills - they are addictive. Listen to music! Go to a concert in the organ hall. Organ music works wonders and relieves even the most severe depression! Try writing a book about someone who committed suicide, or make a photo collage with music on your computer. It will be a memory. Do something for yourself: sign up for new courses, dances, etc. In this case, you will not have time to think about the bad.

Step 3

Don't be alone! Alone with the experiences, you will only intensify them. Force yourself to visit friends, invite friends to your place! Visit distant relatives in another city. Chat and share your experiences!

Step 4

To understand that life is great, go the other way. Look at those who are even worse than you. Read articles on the courage of people with disabilities who draw with their feet. Go to an orphanage on a charity mission. Check out social media groups about children who are dying and in need of treatment. Here they are really having a bad life! And you have arms, legs, head and healthy internal organs. You have friends ready to help. Live and enjoy life! Find the strength to do something for yourself and others! And a loved one, even one who has passed away, will remain with you forever. In your memory.
