Most people have come across those who, in no time, can provoke a quarrel. Conflicting individuals feel “like a fish in water” where, it seems, a grandiose scandal is about to break out. Often they are provocateurs and aggressors, receiving an unprecedented charge of energy from participating in clashes with opponents.

Types of conflicting personalities

The type of conflict personality is formed on the basis of the individual characteristics of each person. It is generally accepted that there are five main images of bettors.

Demonstrative

Most often, this type includes choleric people who are inherent in vital activity. These people love to draw attention to themselves. A demonstrator person is always looking for an excuse to demonstrate something. It doesn't matter what, the main thing is to be noticed. Arrogant, obsessive "know-it-alls", they often say about such people: "there is a plug in every barrel." They always show others that they know about everything in the world.

If a trouble or misfortune happened to such a person, then everyone around should definitely hear about it. The perseverance shown by him should be appreciated by the audience.

People of the demonstrative type often conflict superficially. To be honest, they are too lazy to delve deeply into the essence of the conflict, to get to the bottom of the truth. They never analyze the situation, but act situationally, succumbing to emotions. It is enough for the demonstrators to be noticed. Nothing else matters.

Regidny

People of this type do not trust anyone. They are in constant conflict even with themselves. If they suspect someone of something, then no arguments will be able to change their mind. Often a person belonging to this type of conflict personality is complacent. And he always demands from those around him to be uplifted, to sing songs to him and to compose poems in his honor. Its importance is above all. In his world there is only his “I”.

A regular person does not know how to adapt to circumstances and people. Flexibility, correctness - absolutely not in his character. He is sure that only he is right, while the others do not understand anything in this life. He is offended by those who are not friendly enough to him, do not show due respect and care in relation to his personality. People who do not support his point of view are immediately blacklisted.

Ungovernable

This type is perhaps the most dangerous in terms of the fact that its actions cannot be predicted. He is completely unpredictable, does not know how to control himself in dealing with people. It is not a problem for him to provoke a conflict. Any careless word spoken to him can serve as an impetus for a quarrel, which in most cases develops into a grandiose scandal. In any dispute, he acts as an aggressor and even a tyrant. He never admits his guilt and often blames others for his own failures.

Such a person does not learn from his mistakes. He knows absolutely nothing about planning his actions and deeds. Therefore, everything in his life goes awry, which makes him mad and "throws himself" at people.

Ultra-precise type

Such people are popularly called bores. This type is characterized by self-criticism, increased attention to detail, scrupulousness. A person belonging to this group of conflicting personalities often has increased anxiety. He is always on the verge of stress, worried about something. He makes high demands on any work and makes sure that they are fulfilled by other employees. It freaks him out if someone doesn't work hard enough. Due to excessive pickiness, such people are not liked.

Very often the "super-precise type" suffers from himself, because he cannot jump over his head, and because of this he gets upset. He is completely disharmonious, closed, abandoned by the environment. If friends have not yet managed to escape from constant boring, then such a person will do it himself, suddenly offended by something.

Such people conduct conflicts in their own style - they constantly "mumble" about the correctness of the things they say. From this, their opponents prefer to simply ignore their boring interlocutor.

Conflict-free

People of this type do not like to be in the center of a showdown. Quarrels, swearing, fights are not for them. They prefer to sit on the sidelines, watching the unfolding conflict.

This is because a conflict-free personality type has an internal contradiction. He does not know which side of the conflicting parties to choose, which is why he does not enter into a skirmish, does not want to seem ridiculous. The behavior of such people depends on the opinions of others. They will always follow the crowd, defending, at times, not their own opinion, but the opinion of the majority.

A distinctive feature of this type is the search for a compromise in a dispute. It is easier for him to give up some of his beliefs than to translate the dispute into a state of war.

Psychologists include several more subtypes of conflicting personalities among the five traditional types. All of them, in one way or another, are associated with human temperament. From whether a person is choleric or phlegmatic, it is possible to establish the level of his conflict, thereby choosing a model of behavior with such a person in order to avoid serious consequences.
