Any manager - both the boss of a small company and the director of a large plant - is vitally interested in his subordinates being not only knowledgeable, skillful, qualified, but also conscientious. In other words, so that they live by the interests of his enterprise, they literally "put their souls" into the work. And, of course, they did not even think about such unpleasant things as trading in databases, transferring orders to competitors. How to achieve employee loyalty, how to increase it?

Step 1

There are many methods. The most ineffective of which is to keep subordinates in fear, according to the principle: "Let them hate, if only they were afraid!" Such a leader should not be surprised at the high turnover of employees, or their lack of any loyalty.

Step 2

It is much wiser to remember about the "carrot and stick" method. That is, while showing reasonable rigor and exactingness to employees, do not forget about rewards and about creating a benevolent atmosphere at work. For example, if a newcomer who comes to a firm is immediately greeted with hostility, if he is scolded for any oversight, then what kind of conscientiousness and loyalty can be expected from him?

Step 3

And vice versa, if he is delicately, unobtrusively helped to get used to a new place, if they set clear and understandable tasks, if necessary, provide assistance, then the newcomer will make every effort to justify trust and gain a foothold in such a team.

Step 4

It is very important that employees develop a spirit of “corporate solidarity”. That is, so that any person working for the company feels that they are doing a common and necessary job. To do this, it is necessary from time to time to "erase the framework" between employees at different levels. Joint corporate events, parties, nature hikes are very useful.

Step 5

If people see that a “strict boss” is such only for business reasons, and in everyday life he is the most ordinary person, with his merits and demerits, not arrogant at all, this will contribute to the establishment of a good, benevolent atmosphere at the office.

Step 6

The leader should also remember that in Russia for a very long time the "paternalistic" model of behavior was considered the only correct one. That is, any boss was perceived as a father, strict but fair, to whom you can always come with your problem and complaint. This habit sometimes interferes with work, annoying, but you should not completely wean employees from it. Sometimes you can listen to their complaints, and advise something, and even help. Believe me, this also effectively increases loyalty!
