There are many varieties of them, these are Jehovah's Witnesses, Hare Krishnas, Scientologists, Mormons, etc. All of them present their religion as the most correct and will assure you that only with them you will be "saved." Adepts are good psychologists, and somehow they feel people who have experienced a certain life crisis - divorce, death of loved ones, illness, etc.
Having hooked on the hook, they gradually begin to "process" the person, surrounding him with warmth, care and attention. The personality is gradually drawn in, as soon as the adepts feel that the individual is tightly "on the hook," they begin to demand money, perform certain work for free, etc. This is also the most harmless. There are sects where all property is taken away from people, turned into slaves, morally and physically humiliated.
If one of your loved ones got into such organizations, then try, before it is too late, to make every effort to get a relative to leave the sect. You should not get angry and try to convince him of the harmful influence of the sect. Be smarter by exposing her with facts and evidence.
