The ability to communicate is a skill whose usefulness cannot be overestimated. A skilled communicator will be able to easily start a conversation, establish the necessary connections and get his way from the interlocutor. The persuasive skill that comes with communication skills is sometimes vital, especially when you need to prove your point and achieve the result you want to get.
Instructions
Step 1
The main goal of comfortable communication is to create a trusting relationship in which both interlocutors trust each other. Let's say, by default, you are open to dialogue. But the interlocutor for some reason waits and is more inclined to closed phrases and gestures. Remember how you communicate with friends - you practically do not think about how and what to say, your emotions are positive, and the words literally cling to each other, without lingering in your head. This is how you should behave in order to communicate successfully.
Step 2
To avoid thinking about what to say, turn off the internal dialogue. Do not think about what to say, but in your words rely on the words of the interlocutor. Put him in the center of the dialogue, express a sincere and genuine interest in what he says. To turn off self-talk, practice reading aloud, as well as verbally presenting any thoughts that come into your head. Do this all alone, without outside interference.
Step 3
In order to recreate a positive, trusting state within yourself and transfer it to the interlocutor, use adjustment. Imperceptibly synchronize your breathing with the breathing of the interlocutor and assume a similar posture. After that, use an anchor - fixing a psychological state on a physical impact. Prepare it in advance, for example, mentally re-create a state of absolute joy and fix it by firmly squeezing your wrist. After you use the anchor, artificially maintain this state as long as possible in order for your interlocutor to adopt it.
Step 4
Practice this kind of communication as often as possible. Start with your friends and relatives, gradually try with unfamiliar and unfamiliar people. Track the result and correct the mistakes that you made. Remember that knowledge of theory means little without practice, so practice as often as possible so that you can use this skill with ease in the right situation.
