The human personality tries to manifest itself in all spheres of life. There is a connection between what character traits a person has and how the clothes that he chooses are related to this character. It is safe to say that with clothes a person wants to demonstrate to the world his attitude and desire for him, so that others will see him as he wants to appear or be.
To understand why a person chooses this or that clothing, what character trait he wants to emphasize in himself, it is enough to carefully look at what things dominate in your wardrobe and why there are so many of them.
The traditional, ordinary style of clothing is not worn in order to declare yourself, but so that people around you recognize you "by your clothes." At the same time, such an ordinary style says the following about a person's character:
- women dressed in strict, unremarkable suits, of dull colors, complemented by restrained hairstyles and almost complete absence of makeup, try to isolate themselves from the world, hide behind their unremarkableness, not stand out among colleagues at work, do not take risks, do not think about changes at work, or in personal life, do not stand out in the crowd; most often, such women are absolutely not sure of themselves, their abilities and capabilities, they try in every possible way to avoid any changes;
- men wearing conservative dark-colored suits, ties, shirts and dress shoes are introverts by nature; the main thing for them is not to stand out, not to attract attention to themselves and strictly fulfill the assigned tasks, without retreating a single step to the side; they are incapable of adventures and abrupt lifestyle changes.
If on someone you see clothes that can be called sloppy or "none", then you have a person who thinks that there are no rules and regulations for him. Such people wear jeans worn to holes, not always clean, and, possibly, torn T-shirts, the color combination in their clothes does not bother them. They do not try to take care of themselves and their appearance, thereby emphasizing their independence, love of freedom and disregard for others. Similar character traits correspond to both men and women.
A style of dress that is similar to traditional or casual, but supplemented with small but very important touches, can be called free or relaxed.
- Men who prefer this style wear traditional suits, but always with a trendy, stylish tie or an unusual shirt that creates a kind of chic and attention-grabbing.
- Women add bright scarves, shawls, brooches, pendants to their everyday wardrobe, which also distinguishes them from the crowd. Such people usually achieve success in their goals, have a fairly firm and strong character, and colleagues who are next to them feel their positive influence on themselves.
If you see a person wearing sportswear that he prefers to wear not only at home, but also in public places, then, most likely, such a person may not have anything to do with sports, but only wants to be perceived as an athlete or a person who pays a lot of attention to her health and body. Very often, such people do not play sports at all, they spend time lying on the couch and look with envy at the sports achievements of others on TV.
Clothes can tell a lot about a person. Here are just a few additional examples.
- If a woman has a closet full of incomprehensible, shapeless, baggy clothes, then, most likely, she is shy of her figure, has very low self-esteem and a bunch of complexes.
- If a person chooses the same clothes in faded or dark colors every day, he is most likely on the verge of depression.
- When a woman wants to attract the attention of a man and start a long-term relationship, she will try to dress stylishly and find that balance in clothes that will not allow thinking about her frivolously.
- If an older woman tries to look younger, wears clothes that are suitable only for a twenty-year-old girl, this may be perceived by people completely differently than she would like, and cause a smile or ridicule. In addition, an increased tendency towards youthfulness can be caused by a pathological - not always conscious - fear of aging or a kind of personality regression.
