If a person knows exactly how his tomorrow will go and what will be the day after tomorrow, and each subsequent date will be repeated in the same order, measured, planned and stable, this means that a comfort zone has been created. This is a circle, beyond which neither women nor men want to go, because inside it is cozy, calm and unpleasant surprises are not expected. What about improving your life?

Why comfort interferes

To achieve something more, you need to leave comfort behind and venture into new experiments. If this is not done, life will turn into an everyday routine without goals and aspirations. But who wants such a change? Suppose a person finds a job, takes a mediocre position, has a stable salary, and a one-room apartment on the outskirts of the city that he can afford. There is still something to strive for. But does our hero really need this? The quagmire of routine swallowed him. He does not want to quit his unloved job, because then he will have to spend strength and energy looking for another job. Giving up comfort is a decision to become better, to improve and build willpower. Really strong personalities are capable of such a step, who later become successful, rich or famous all over the world.

7 reasons to step out of your comfort zone

Leaving a comfortable cage, created by the person himself, is especially important if, in addition to stability, there are no other joys in life. Unpromising work, the absence of a loved one and family, lack of free time for travel and self-development - all this is a signal for action "to get out of the comfort zone." And here are seven reasons why this should be done:

  • the impetus for action - beyond comfort, failure, discomfort and struggle await you, which are the necessary conditions for growth. In fear of failure, you do not even dare to act, although it is known that there is no better teacher than your own mistakes;
  • discovering new hobbies - to be happy, you must have a passion, a special hobby that brings you joy and distracts you from your routine. Only after leaving your comfort zone, you can understand where to look and what to look for;
  • new knowledge - communicating with new people, visiting unfamiliar places, traveling to unknown countries will help expand your horizons, fill you with new knowledge and help you better understand the world;
  • clarity of mind - just turn off your phone, turn off the TV and go to the real world;
  • Confidence - Be the first to start a conversation, tell stories from your personal life in an unfamiliar company, keep up the topic of conversation, even if you are not confident and afraid to speak in public;
  • improving social skills - communicate with real people, meet those who are interesting to you, take the first step towards acquaintances;
  • a new world - you will discover other hobbies, cultures, knowledge that will fill your life to the brim.

By overcoming these steps, you can take control of your life.

Start small

To switch your mind, you do not have to immediately kick yourself out and join the crowd of unknown people or buy a ticket to a country where you do not know anyone and even the local language is unfamiliar to you. Doing so can create stressful situations and put you in your comfort chamber forever. It's important to start small. Set your alarm ten minutes early, read five more pages, leave your TV off at your usual time, and switch to the correct power supply. Little things like that will prepare your psyche for more serious action.
