The habit of procrastinating is suicide for your productivity. Unfortunately, coping with this habit is not easy, but possible with a little effort and the right advice.
Set aside time to complete tasks
Sometimes it seems that there is no time to complete the task at all. Nevertheless, practice shows that it is quite possible to find the time if you just want to. Plan a small action ahead of time, such as doing 20 minutes of yoga every night before bed. Time will definitely appear, you just have to plan some business.
If you thought about it, then it must be done
You can either forget about it, add it to your to-do list and put it off, or do it now. The third option is most preferable, since it will allow you not to return to this case in the future.
Use a timer
Set the time during which you plan to do only one specific task, and when the timer rings, check whether you are doing what you need or not. This is very disciplining.
Don't do multiple things at once
Working in multitasking mode is like running a squirrel in a wheel - a lot of energy is applied, but there is zero sense. To avoid this, take on each task in turn, focusing on doing it.
Do not be distructed
Avoid anything that might distract you from your work. Distraction leads to procrastination. Clean up your desk, mute your computer, and focus on what you really need to do.
Compare actions and goals
At each moment, correlate what you are doing and what you are striving for. Is it worth wasting time in front of the TV if your goal is to read 100 books in a year?
