Internal energy can be skillfully directed towards solving complex problems. If part of the energy flows away to insignificant, random affairs, a person cannot concentrate and realize his natural potential in the chosen business. Therefore, the energy must be kept under control.
Instructions
Step 1
Write down the levels of control you want. Energy can be stored, held and distributed. Each level requires specific skills. The accumulation of energy is necessary at the stage of preparation for the launch of any project. If there is no accumulation, the idea will remain unfulfilled - there will not be enough motivation to start. Energy retention is used during the start of the project. If the energy is not kept, the start will be blurry, unsuccessful. So a runner can get overwhelmed and start the race a little later than other athletes. Allocating energy is essential to getting things done with priority. Otherwise, there will not be enough strength to get to the finish line. Someone well accumulates and retains energy, but ineptly distributes. Others fail to accumulate, but have no problems with distribution, etc. An analysis of the past will help identify weaknesses.
Step 2
Identify weaknesses in specific cases. In the first step, you made an assumption about the weak points based on your past life. Now we need to observe - is this really happening now. Take a week or two to this step to make sure the assumptions are correct or incorrect. You may learn something new about yourself and want to add layers of control.
Step 3
Establish rules for the ideal response to stimuli that steal energy. External stimuli include people, events, etc. - everything that affects the will, emotions and takes away energy at some level. Internal stimuli emerge from the subconscious. You can mentally set yourself insurmountable obstacles, which also takes up energy. The rules of the ideal reaction will help to suppress the unnecessary in a timely manner and thus keep the energy under control. Example of a rule: "If before my speech at a meeting Ivanov looks at me and grins, I will never look at him again." This rule helps to ignore the critic's opinion and thus retain energy.
Step 4
Record any discrepancies with the rules. Observe how you think and act in certain situations. If you're not getting close to your goals, think about where the energy is leaking. The diary will help you remember the rules set in the third step and be guided by them as a standard.
Step 5
Analyze mistakes and change the situation for the better. Such work on oneself will help to become stronger and prevent energy losses.
