There are no people who have no talents at all. Everyone can succeed in something. The main thing is to get on your path in time and not waste time and energy on what your heart does not lie to, because this way you can rip your nerves, become disappointed in yourself and disappoint others who have great hopes on you.
Instructions
Step 1
Track your entire history of interests and hobbies. What were you interested in as a child? Maybe they painted, sculpted, photographed, composed stories that they told grandmother in the evenings. It is quite possible that you showed yourself in a completely different field: you opened your "store" and traded, like Tom Sawyer, bright pebbles and rubber balls. Or they spent whole days in the garden side by side with mom and watched with trepidation how the marigolds grew in the garden. Somewhere in these children's amusements lie your talents and abilities, buried in the cares of adolescence and adulthood. It remains only to discover this talent and no longer bury it in the ground.
Step 2
Gradually start trying different activities, not embarrassed by their possible childishness. If you liked to come up with different games before, then maybe the class teacher disappears in you? If you, having climbed onto a birch, drew the surrounding views with a simple pencil, then try to pick up drawing supplies now: even if you don't succeed in the new Shishkin, you can always start designing your own home or personal plot. The main thing is not to be afraid, not to stop and try, try, try.
Step 3
Pay attention to your personality traits. Of course, both in your own eyes and in the eyes of those around you, you are an integral image that does not need to be divided into its component parts. But introspection in this situation can help you a lot. Are you active and easily find common language with people? You have probably lost a real huckster (and you don't need to frown: you also need to be able to sell and buy wisely). Do you perceive the surrounding nature as an artistic image? Describe it in verse. Always start from yourself, and not from those standards and prejudices that society presses on you. First of all, you live your life for yourself.
Step 4
Having tried yourself in one area or another, wait for the trial. Although society should not dictate to you which way to go, you still need to listen to its opinion sometimes. There are many smart people, professionals, whose advice can help you a lot. Do not think that since your family members liked your paintings, then they are really brilliant. Turn to professional artists and art critics: they will evaluate your masterpieces more or less objectively. Don't be discouraged if the score is negative. This just means that you have not yet dug up your true talent, but discovered someone else's and are trying to hang it on yourself.
Step 5
Whatever you do and no matter how successful you are, there is one thing that will tell you for sure: here it is, yours. This thing is inspiration. It should always be there when it comes to true art (art is understood here in a broad sense: and repairing gas burners can be considered art). With inspiration, art begins; it rests on hard work, perseverance and love. Therefore - dare, and success to you!
