Uncertainty in one's own beauty makes it difficult to live in harmony with oneself and enjoy life. Have you ever thought about how others treat your appearance the way you yourself allow them to think about yourself?
Instructions
Step 1
You are consciously alone so that no one inadvertently offends you with a sidelong glance or a rude word. You stubbornly refuse to believe in your own attractiveness, which even your friends are tired of reminding you of, waving your hand at you. If these words are correct, consider what you are turning your own life into. Look at yourself as if from the outside. Whom do you see? A person who collects ridicule? Now mentally hug yourself and get ready for a change.
Step 2
Stand in front of a mirror that shows your full-length reflection. Consider yourself as a whole, paying attention to even the smallest detail. Study your body carefully, do not miss a single detail. Then say aloud as loudly and decisively as possible: “This is me. From now on I love myself the way I am. Repeat these words as often as possible throughout the day.
Step 3
Watch small children. They love to run naked and perceive themselves as they are. The body is a tool that children make the most of. Instead of thinking about the reflection in the mirror, they have many other interesting and joyful things in life that give them real pleasure.
Step 4
Smile to yourself and others more often. Compliment your body, accept them with dignity from others. Realize your importance in this house, city, on this planet. Your presence on it is valuable in itself, and there are still relatives and friends. And they love you not for beautiful eyes or antique profile, but perceive your personality as a whole, with all the baggage of flaws and advantages.
Step 5
Whatever metamorphosis occurs with your appearance, remember that your body is unique, there is no other person of the same kind on earth. Your imaginary inconsistency with certain stereotypes, perhaps, is the zest for which your relatives love you. Strive not for the ideal, which does not exist in nature, but for the self. After all, if you do not love yourself, how will others love you?
