It is impossible to always remain happy - each of us has grief and loss. But a person who lives in harmony with himself, after a while, restores peace of mind and returns a feeling of happiness from every day he has lived, and the one who cannot do this falls into prolonged depression. Happiness is a feeling that depends only on your perception of the surrounding reality.

Step 1
If you do not feel happy at a time when, it would seem, no sad events are happening, take self-analysis, find the cause of your depression. It is possible that it is associated with an unloved job or the need to do something that you absolutely do not like.
Step 2
Remember those people you know who seem to be happy people. They are always in a positive mood and with their goodwill literally attract good people to themselves. At the same time, it is not at all necessary that these lucky people earn a lot of money, possess power or unearthly beauty. If you look closely, you will understand that whatever they undertake, they do with pleasure. Try to live like this.
Step 3
No outsider can make you happy. Think about what you like: what you like to do, what work to do, what people to communicate with, how to relax, and even what to eat. To always feel happy, try to do more often what brings you joy and satisfaction.
Step 4
Start with the job you go to every day. If you do not like it and you perform it through force, consider whether it is worth spending a third of your life on it. No person will feel happy without being able to realize themselves. Reconsider your attitude to work and, if you cannot bring yourself to get carried away with it, change it to another, where in the morning you will go with joy. Don't be afraid to lose money first - peace of mind is more expensive. You will be able to do what you like with greater dedication, you will begin to take initiative, you will feel needed and happy. It is likely that you will eventually start earning more.
Step 5
Stop sitting in front of the TV, devote the free time to what you love to do. Of course, this does not mean that you will give up your usual activities and responsibilities. But they will cease to be a burden and even begin to bring you pleasure, when you know that after completing them, you can do what brings a feeling of happiness into your life: traveling, walking, communicating with loved ones and friends, hobbies and entertainment.
Step 6
Try to notice and appreciate those moments in life that can fill you with a feeling of euphoria - a sunbeam that touches your pillow in the morning, a rainbow after the rain, the smooth sound of the surf on the seashore. Take your time, know how to stop on the run and absorb this joy and this admiration for seemingly ordinary things. And your happiness will not depend at all on external factors - you will always find it inside yourself.
