I don’t remember how I got acquainted with this rule, but over the course of several years it has firmly entered my life. And there were times when I did not think in such categories: "Well, what is one minute ?!" Nevertheless, for example, in the "fly lady" cleaning system, there is such a daily task: exactly 60 seconds for a run around the house, collecting things that "are not there" and returning them to their places. That is, to make such a "march": longer - is not encouraged, but to repeat - you can and repeat during the day, but without fanaticism.

Agree, even if you are very busy and even if these are very important and urgent matters, you can always carve out a short period of time during the day for what you want: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes. Let everyone have their own time period.

I immediately determined for myself that it was more interesting for me to experiment with 5 minutes. Five minutes a day is 35 minutes a week, 1 hour 10 minutes every two weeks and, accordingly, 2 hours 20 minutes a month - you must admit, this is in any case much better than zero than nothing!

What can be done in 5 minutes? I must say right away that it is better not to plan anything global. Let's approach our capabilities adequately: it should be some small action, a small step, which, nevertheless, will help to go a long way on the way to the goal on one condition - if you practice regularly, from day to day. Listen to yourself: “What would I like to do? What do I constantly lack time for?"

The list can be quite varied: go in for sports (as an option - swing the press or do some stretching exercises), take care of yourself, dance, take care of flowers, cook (if less globally, then look for culinary recipes), read, draw (for example, paint mandalas), do self-massage, get rid of things (one of the options is to delete old contacts from your phone or files from your computer), keep a diary (a diary of dreams and wishes, a gratitude diary, etc.), take care of your health (do a few exercises, for example, for a beautiful posture), etc. etc.

I will share my experience. So, I practiced at the same time, separately and in disagreement:

- mini-charging (at home or at work);

- exercises for the eyes (very useful, but it was not always possible to do it, so I made it a rule to do it every day);

- exercise on fitball;

- English (performed a pre-selected exercise from the site for learning a foreign language);

- face massage (in the evening, sometimes combined with the application of cream);

- a face mask from improvised means (after studying the needs of my skin, I made masks from potatoes, banana, sour cream, etc.; one of the fastest and most versatile remedies is to wipe your face with a cucumber peel, and a quail egg is great as a mask - I don't know a faster and more effective mask);

- foot massage before bedtime (excellent sedative), - cleaning (I had time to do something - wipe the shelf in the bathroom, walk along the rim of the toilet bowl, wipe the mirror, etc.), - and other.

What did I end up with? Some of the skills have turned into skills, that is, they have taken their niche in the course of my usual day and are performed almost automatically with a minimum of time. The other part - not regularly, but from time to time I continue to practice. And something completely "disappeared" (probably just what is not relevant at the moment).

According to research results, a skill is formed in 21 days, so it is advisable to practice for at least a month in order to feel the result.

I am convinced that each of us can find at least a few minutes a day for what is truly important and desirable. The most important thing is to get started. The main obstacle, which is often encountered here: "Five minutes a day will not give me anything, but if you study for an hour, then there will be an effect." Firstly, practice shows that it is much easier to decide on a small action. Secondly, regularity is important in the formation of a skill: it is better in a little bit, but regularly, than a lot and rarely (this will be confirmed by any athlete, dancer, polyglot, etc.).

What are you planning to spend your 5 minutes on every day?
