The Roman Muse or Greek Charita is one of the nine patron sisters of the arts and sciences. A situation or mood that facilitates the beginning and the process of creativity, artists, poets and composers still call a visit to the muse. Her arrival for a modern creator can be physical (in the image of a person) or figurative.

Step 1
A physical visit to a muse is possible if you create a work with the moral support of another person. This can be the addressee of the poem or the prototype of the main character. You can fix some of his features or general appearance, it does not matter. It is important that it influences your work as a stimulus.
Finding such a "muse" is not always easy. First of all, you need to observe the whole world at once: listen and look closely at everything that surrounds you, especially people. Your attention will involuntarily focus on those you really need.
Step 2
In another case, the man-muse plays the role of a mentor and advisor. The creator shows the finished work, listens to comments and wishes, explains his choice of certain details, but later he still remakes the work in accordance with the wishes of the muse. In this case, two approaches are possible: the muse must either have significant experience in the field of a particular art (otherwise some details will escape her attention), or, conversely, be an inveterate lover and spectator. In the second case, the artist can count on a gaze that has not lost its freshness because of the clichés, laws and restrictions that professional creators have. However, one day you will have to part with such a muse, since her gaze will also lose the novelty of perception over time.
Step 3
You can start looking for an experienced mentor in a specialized educational institution, but, as a rule, his services will not be free for you. Look for an unselfish mentor among friends and acquaintances, preferably among those close to you.
A fresh-minded muse can be a good friend far from the field of art with which you are associated. You may not declare him your muse, but simply ask for advice, show your unfinished works and correct what he thought was ugly.
Step 4
In a figurative sense, the arrival of a muse is a special state of mind. It is characterized by high spirits, high physical and mental activity, clarity of thoughts. You can call it by creating a favorable environment around you: ventilate the room to the optimal temperature, install a soft, sufficiently bright light (or dim, if desired). Turn on your favorite music, light scented candles or sticks. You can take a walk beforehand, think about something pleasant. Over time, you will understand exactly what factors provoke a state of inspiration in your case.
