Saying and doing are not the same thing. To really accomplish something meaningful, talking is not enough: you need to take action. But often, laziness, apathy, procrastination and other negative factors can kill all the desire to do important things.

Instructions

Step 1

Set a goal for yourself. Before you start to act, you must decide in which direction to go. It is best to use the SMART technique. According to her, the goal should be specific, measurable, achievable, real and time-specific. That is, “becoming rich” is not a goal, but “earning 500,000 rubles a month until 2020” is already a goal.

Step 2

Next, you need to draw up an action plan. That is, you have to do the decomposition. Break the main goal into subgoals, repeat the same with subgoals. The more specific tasks you get, the easier it will be for you to achieve what you want. Be sure to include a time frame for each task.

Step 3

Many people don't move on simply because they don't know exactly what to do. A plan like this fixes this problem. In addition, you can always choose exactly the task that is attractive to you at the moment. This will help you overcome your reluctance to work.

Step 4

They say that if a person can not do, then he will not try. That is why many people turn off the intended path: they simply lack motivation. The best way to defeat apathy and laziness is through social methods. One of them is that you declare to all your acquaintances, relatives and friends that you will definitely achieve what you want. The fear of looking like a liar and a failure in the eyes of these people will make you move towards what you want.

Step 5

Another way is called "word price". Here, instead of social influences, completely material factors will influence you. You declare to your trusted and respected comrade that you will achieve what you want and give him a significant amount for you. For a student, it can be 5,000 rubles, for a businessman, 500,000. Then say that if you do not cope with the intended goal, then he can keep the money for himself.

Step 6

Begin to act immediately, even if you know that you will have time to cope with the goal long before the end of the term. Take small but important steps. For example, if you want to learn English, try to learn at least five words every day. At this rate, they will become 1,500+ in a year, and this is already the result. Try to move a little forward every day.

Step 7

Use the m100% M technique. Its essence lies in the fact that you have to set yourself three types of tasks. "M" is the minimum that you should do even if you get very tired or get sick. "100%" is the average value, that is, actions on a normal, standard day. "M" is your maximum. This is a plan for the day when you will be literally bursting with energy and desire to cope with tasks. For the example of the English language, this can be: "m" - 5 words, "100%" - 30 words, "M" - 100 words.
