Who are introverts? What is their general attitude of consciousness, as well as thinking, feelings, the mechanism of sensation formation, intuition?

What is an introvert?

The general mindset of an introvert is focused not on objective data, but on purely subjective factors. The introverted type, of course, notices external conditions, but everything is decided by a subjective determinant, a personal predisposition. In this context, the subjective factor is not self-centeredness or narcissism. This is a reaction that, mixing with external influences, gives rise to the beginning of a new psychological fact. A full-fledged reality, like the external environment. In positive development, it is the self (concept from the theory of C. G. Jung).

An introvert's thinking is capable of operating with both abstract and concrete values. In this case, there is no return to the object, but the replenishment of the world of internal images takes place. External, in this case, is not the goal and not the reason. Thinking is engaged in posing questions, opening prospects, looking into the depths, and accepting facts with caution. Uses them as illustrations or evidence. However, the negative development of the introverted attitude leads to an artificial overestimation of the role of the subject for consciousness, immerses consciousness in mysticism and makes it sterile. It can lead to complete indifference to the given and elimination from it.

Feelings of an introvert also lie in the realm of the subjective. They do not try to adapt to the object, but rise above it. The depth of such a feeling is difficult to comprehend for an outside observer. Introverts are distant and taciturn, as if they are hiding from the possible rudeness of the subject. Defending themselves from interference in their own world, they can demonstrate indifference, negative judgments. All experiences are locked from the inside and it takes time and effort to find a way to convey them to others. With the negative development of an introverted sensory attitude, excessive egocentrism, narcissism, and meaningless passion develop.

The mechanism for the formation of sensation related to the object world undergoes a change in the introverted attitude. The role of the external is reduced to the level of a simple pathogen. It seems that introverts simply do not allow him into their world, they see objects in a different way from others. But in reality, the introvert simply comprehends to a greater extent the deep layers of mental life, and not its surface.

Introvert intuition is focused on the unconscious, on internal objects. The subjective and the objective have a similar relationship to consciousness. It's just that in the first case psychic reality is cognized, in the second - physical. Intuition of an introvert perceives everything that happens in the distant planes of consciousness.
