Each of us at least once got into a situation when thoughts about something bad interfere with living and enjoying life. They constantly return to a problematic situation, and it is impossible to prevent yourself from imagining something in the darkest colors. In fact, it is worth learning to control the flow of bad thoughts, because it interferes with living and seeing those opportunities and gifts of fate that fortune presents to us.

Step 1
Solve the problem. Often, bad thoughts overwhelm us in a situation of uncertainty. But instead of taking the bull by the horns and deciding on some issue, we postpone the decisive moment, mired in feelings of hopelessness and despair. Remember that any truth is better than uncertainty. And try to get into direct conversation or actions that will allow you to find out what is really going on.
Step 2
After solving the problem, find a way to calm down and distract yourself. Let's say you decide to get fired or get divorced. We have already done everything and cannot calm down. We need to come up with options to distract ourselves. Do something enjoyable, reconnect with friends, go to the cinema or theater. Get emotions that are completely different from those of the protracted conflict. This will help to quickly expand the horizons of perception and understand that there is also life outside of the former family or work. Moreover, it is no less exciting and interesting.
Step 3
Examine your physiological state. Psychologists have conducted experiments that show that in a situation of extreme fatigue, obsessive thoughts appear in the brain. If every now and then songs or some kind of dialogues, pictures are attached to your tongue, then you should, first of all, turn off all phones, sleep, relax, rest. The presence of obsessive thoughts is sometimes a symptom of depression, from which you definitely need to get rid of.
