Planning your business and planning your life in general is very helpful in seeing perspective. A plan of strategic and tactical goals will allow you to see in retrospect which actions were successful and which were wasted. To build a goal tree, use brainstorming as a generator.

Instructions

Step 1

To get the goal generator working, grab a pen, a notebook and start writing down your most global goals. They will touch on the main areas in your life. Draw a circle and write these topics in sectors. It can be “Family”, “Career”, “Hobby”, “Travel”, “Education”, “Health” and so on. At this stage, it is important to find all the main topics in your life and fix them in a circle.

Step 2

Now it is necessary to detail these topics. Now for each topic draw a separate circle and in it also begin to fill the sectors with significant moments for this topic. Those that will help you fully realize yourself in this particular area of your life. For example, in the circle "Family" you may have the following sectors: "Husband", "Child", "Household", "Dog". In the circle "Business" - "Phone", "Meetings", "Trips", "Contacts" and so on. Then you can go deeper into detail and draw a circle for each sector. That is, you can name a separate circle "Economy" and paint it in more detail.

Step 3

For convenience, you can draw not circles, but a tree. That is, your life will stand at the base of this tree, then the branches "Family", "Career", "Hobby", "Travel", "Education", "Health" will follow, and from them there are already smaller branches. The more detailed you work out your goals, the larger your tree will be.

Step 4

The important thing now is to get your goal generator to work. Here you will need to set aside the graphics and write to the line. So, start with the smallest branches. Let it be a branch of "Advanced training" from the trunk "Career". You need to write a sentence, answering sequentially to the questions "Who?", "Where?", "When?", "How much?" or "What?" Moreover, one must answer not in the future tense, but in the present. For example: I in Moscow on May 22, 2012 attended the training of All Saints.

Who? - I;

Where? - In Moscow;

When? - May 22, 2012;

What? - training of Vsekhsvyatsky.

Step 5

In the same way, you will need to paint all sectors or branches. Don't neglect the smallest points. They will be the intermediate goals, which, as a rule, are easily achievable. Fill in your notebook with these suggestions and mark the progress. By reading the notes daily, you will program your subconscious and conscious mind to fulfill your goals.

Step 6

Always put pros against accomplished goals. They will show that you can actually achieve your goals. Starting with the smallest, you yourself will not notice how you will begin to achieve your most ambitious goals. Seeing this, you will begin to enjoy the very process of planning and implementing goals. At the same time, large failures will not upset you much, but even small victories will become the key to your orientation towards success.

Step 7

Regularly compiling a goal tree will help you not only achieve heights in those areas that you considered important, but also open your eyes to things that you did not notice at all before.
