What to strive for? For what to live? What to dream about? Questions like this often come up in life. You can strive for the same goals as friends, parents, or neighbors. There are a number of steps to follow to clarify your own path.

Step 1

First, look back. Surely you have something to brag about: work, friends, family, hobbies. If the work is not happy, and there was a mistake with the choice of the institute, it is not too late to change everything.

Step 2

If time permits, go on vacation. Or donate a weekend or two to your advantage. Relax. Get some sleep.

Step 3

Take a notebook, notebook, laptop - whatever you like. Write down the headline: "What do I need in this life?" Write down all the thoughts, ideas that come to mind. Perhaps at first there will be no thoughts at all, or they will seem not worthy of attention. Write it down anyway. Take your time. The question is serious. Write down everything. Starting from looking at the phone during a trip to the store and ending with great accomplishments: learning a foreign language, getting another profession, getting married or getting married, building a house, achieving fame, etc. Don't be limited to 20-30 points. The more you write, the better.

Cross out insignificant, momentary desires. Check the ones that matter most to you. Make adjustments along the way. You should not try to become a TV star if you have never performed on stage or held a microphone in your hands, and you have big problems with diction.

Count how many points you get. Look at them. Determine which ones are really important to you and what you can hardly imagine life without. Nobody rushes you. If no meaningful ideas come up, take a break and don't try to squeeze out any solutions. Pick one small item and take a small step in that direction.

Make as many day-to-day life changes as possible. Change your clothing style, go where you haven't been. Try new dishes, hobbies. Fill your life with new experiences. And the answer to the question will surely come.
