Thinking economically means taking care of the future. But not only from the point of view of profit, although this concept can be interpreted quite broadly. After all, profit can be not only material, but also moral, value.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a pen and paper and write down what you would like to change in your life (point by point: 1, 2 …).

Step 2

Choose from these points the ones that you think will most of all depend on your financial situation (points like "flying to the moon" are also quite suitable, especially since space tourism is a costly event). Copy the new list onto another sheet of paper.

Step 3

Take another sheet of paper. Make a new list of your desires, the fulfillment of which at the moment depends only on you (from your salary, etc.). Try to write them down in chronological order (for example, first you "buy a car" and only then "go on a car tour of Europe").

Step 4

On the next sheet, write down the items that are not directly dependent on you ("increase in wages" and even "lower prices for food").

Step 5

Do not forget to indicate the approximate "cost" of desire on all sheets against each of the points. Make a plan for their possible implementation, based on your material prospects. Don't throw these sheets away. After a while, they will come in handy. Put them in a secluded spot, but don't forget where they are. This will serve as an incentive for you to take action to improve your financial situation.

Step 6

Evaluate adequately your professional qualities as a specialist, think about whether you have career opportunities at the place of work where you are currently working. Take a piece of paper and honestly write down all your pros and cons as a worker (point by point). Use this list to improve yourself in the profession.

Step 7

In the event that you took out a loan or you are going (you need) to receive it, immediately assess the possibility of its non-repayment and make sure that this does not happen. Take a second job, rent out part of your living quarters (in agreement with your family), try, at least from time to time, not to buy food and clothing in expensive stores. Pay off the loan.

Step 8

Get additional education by studying the market for the demand for specialists. In addition to the possible promotion or change of work for a higher-paying job, education will bring you good moral dividends.

Step 9

If your financial situation allows, do charity work. Firstly, it will help you to reduce some of the taxes, and secondly, you will get satisfaction from the thought that someone's life has been made easier.

Step 10

After a few years, turn back to the pieces of paper on which you wrote down your desires. Check those that have already been done and those that have yet to be done. You can make a new list.

Step 11

And most importantly, never reproach your neighbors for not being able to reach your heights. Maybe they expect completely different benefits from life.
