Are there general patterns of appearance and resolution of various problems, regardless of their specifics?
In these difficult times, each person has many problems. You can hardly find anyone who can say that everything in his life is perfect. It often happens like this: if one or more spheres of life are in relative order, then something else is bound to get out of control. Well at work - difficulties in the family, money appeared - health is playing pranks …
Is it possible to find general recommendations for all the variety of difficulties in different areas of life that different people experience at different periods of their lives?
All difficulties and problems have something in common at their core and they are also sometimes solved in a very similar way. Let me explain with an example. Recall from your experience two different difficult situations that have been successfully resolved. For example, a conflict situation in a relationship with a person and financial difficulties at a certain period of life. Situations, reasons, circumstances, duration, solutions were different. Is not it? But what was common? Common were the stages of solving these difficulties and your experiences at each stage.
If we conditionally divide the problems into “life” stages, from its inception to resolution, then it will be possible to single out:
1. The origin of the problem.
At first, we just live, set goals, perform some actions, make plans, make efforts in accordance with our goals. Then some circumstances arise in life that we do not like, run counter to our ideas about life, interfere with the realization of goals, or simply make life difficult and joyless. For a while, we have been trying to resist these circumstances.
2. Awareness of the problem.
At this stage, our inability to cope with adverse circumstances finally leads us to the realization that the "Problem" has arrived. At this stage, we are struggling with circumstances, we do not accept them internally, we believe that fate is treating us very unfairly, we experience a number of negative emotions - irritation, resentment, etc. Some people get stuck at this stage for a very long time. It also depends on the strength of negative circumstances - someone loses the keys and spends a couple of hours redoing them, and someone is drawn into a situation that is much more difficult.
3. Rethinking your attitude.
At the next stage, we calm down, we begin to rethink a lot in our life - our attitude towards ourselves, towards people, towards the problem. Something is changing in us. Think back to your situations and you will understand what I mean. Again, this stage is different for all people. Duration, depth of comprehension, etc. are different. And, of course, a lot depends on factors that we cannot even take into account and list everything.
Have you noticed that after this stage many people say that their ideas about life change? They say: "I used to think this way, but now I look at it differently …"
4. Resolution of the problem.
And finally, having understood something in life, we are already looking for information, ways to resolve our difficult situation, if necessary, we turn to other people for help and, again, depending on many factors, performing certain actions, we get a solution to our problem.
