How you want to protect your child from all the troubles and worries of this world! I would like him to live a happy and cloudless life. In order for the baby to be able to face all the hardships of life steadfastly, it is necessary to let him explore this world on his own. The function of a parent in it is only supportive and helpful.
The baby is not the property of the parent. The function of the latter is to grow, educate and let go. Often, parents, because of their selfish motives, ruin the child's life. Paradoxically, but it is especially "good" for mothers. There are several main types of difficult mums:
- always sick and unhappy;
- overwhelming;
- anxious and overprotective;
- humiliating and selfish.
Often there is a confusion of certain traits of each type in the nature of the mother. This is due to the fact that the woman has not worked out certain psychological problems, and subconsciously transfers them to the child.
To raise a child as an independent person, you need:
- provide him with a certain degree of freedom in knowing himself and the world;
- teach independence;
- to support and encourage in difficult life moments;
- communicate as with an adult.
Also, the baby should not be forced to do something, for example, food, certain creative activities, etc. The child, in certain aspects, needs to be taught, focusing on his character and needs, and not forced, based on his own concepts of "usefulness" for him.
Usually, from children who were given a certain degree of freedom by their parents in childhood and adolescence, strong and independent personalities grow up.
