Harmony is a word of Greek origin, which simultaneously denoted both the agreement of sounds in musical and theatrical action, and the well-coordinated interaction of members of society, nature and the entire universe, space. Today this concept has expanded to the meaning of coherence in any kind of activity, including as a definition of a balanced state of mind.
Instructions
Step 1
Any religious and philosophical doctrine is engaged in achieving harmony and balance to one degree or another. Start learning the basics of worldview and religious thought and choose the system that works best for you. Most Russians settle for Orthodox Christianity as the country's most widespread religion, but you don't have to limit your search. Decide your own destiny.
Step 2
The principles of any religion are based on values and limitations common to all mankind: the safety and integrity of someone else's life, fulfillment of promises and loyalty to family and friends, respect for other people's property and opinions, preventing negative thoughts from entering your mind. The last point is especially important for you. The list of such thoughts includes any idea of a destructive nature: a negative impression from one or more people in your environment, including the unspoken; envy of someone's property; condemnation of actions and much more. Discard such ideas right away. Express them to the person with whom they are connected if necessary, but leave them immediately after the end of the conversation.
Step 3
Be moderate in all your behavior: do not say too much, but do not hide important details; do not overeat, but do not starve yourself; do not try to cover all areas of expertise, but do not limit yourself to the professional area. Over time, you will learn to find the “middle ground” avoiding extremes.
Step 4
Maintain a calm or slightly elated mood under all circumstances. Do not give in to passions and weaknesses. Reassure yourself that you can get out of even the most difficult situations without loss. Don't focus on negative events in your life; take them as painful but necessary lessons. Make the most of your failures to avoid repeating your mistakes.
