Sometimes one gets the impression that time flies at a tremendous speed. Only recently did you rejoice in spring and the first swollen buds, as December comes and it's time to think about gifts. It is not surprising that fear grips with this - it seems that life is passing by. But this fear can be overcome.

Let's not pause

“I’m waiting - I can’t wait for my vacation”, “I count the days until the end of the school year”, “In winter I seem to go into hibernation.” People often spend a lot of time waiting for some important event for them: vacation, holiday, vacation, the return of a spouse from a long business trip, the arrival of children to visit. It is not surprising that you get the impression that life is rushing past you, because you do not live it, but freeze in anticipation of the desired event. But time cannot be paused at the same time - days, weeks, months and even years pass by as if nothing had happened. Try to find something good and enjoy every day. Even with a busy schedule, you can find an hour or two in order to get your share of positive emotions: listen to your favorite music during your lunch break, read a fascinating book on the subway, in the evening while walking with your dog, turn off the usual route and go to the lake or to the nearest square. The more eventful your life is, the less it will seem to you that the years are wasted.

Down with stereotypes

Eliminate age stereotypes - getting married, getting married, having kids, rollerblading, cycling, college, and colorful clothes - can be as long as you feel like doing it. Take away the time frame for yourself, and your life will become much easier and more pleasant, the feeling that you only have a couple of years left to wear your favorite ripped jeans, and then it will become simply indecent. You do not participate in a marathon and are not late, you can enjoy your favorite things as much as you see fit, and realize yourself at any age, you have plenty of time ahead of you, and you will be on time.

Set goals

So that life is not so fleeting, set goals and achieve them. It is advisable that you have both long-term tasks: to graduate from a university, to grow to the position of director, to educate children, as well as shorter-term projects: to learn a foreign language, get a license to drive a car, plan a trip. Looking back, you will be able to see that you did not waste your time: you did what you planned and remember perfectly what exactly you did and how much effort it cost you. At the same time, you have plans for the future, which means that life goes on, and you will make it as interesting, effective and fulfilling as possible.
