Constant quarrels, stresses and problems gradually begin to cause attacks of aggression in a person. During a bright, uncontrollable outburst of anger, it is so easy to say too much to dear people. Fortunately, you can learn to control your anger.
Instructions
Step 1
Real aggression and anger lasts about 15 minutes and no more. This means that for exactly a quarter of an hour your brain is in a foggy state. And everything that happens after this time is your own stubbornness, the desire to stand your ground and self-hypnosis. So if you feel an outburst of anger is coming, just wait. Try not to communicate with anyone at this time, or just “hide” from people in order to have time to calm down.
Step 2
Learn to look at things positively. Do not set yourself up for negativity, stop waiting for a catch and get angry with people for something they haven’t even done yet.
Step 3
To relieve aggression, do something that calms you down. For example, hard physical labor or gymnastics can help you cope with negative emotions.
Step 4
Remember that anger takes away too much strength and energy from you, so you shouldn't give in to it.
Step 5
If problems with uncontrolled outbursts of aggression haunt you constantly, you should consider some kind of anti-anxiety therapy. For example, before going to bed, drink a mug of lemon balm tea, valerian tincture. Sign up for yoga courses, do breathing exercises. Start listening to classical music.
Step 6
If your anger is caused by completely ordinary things, you should think about whether everything is okay with you. The irritation may be the result of poor sleep or nightmares. Or maybe you are not feeling very well due to improper and inadequate nutrition? Or are you just not satisfied with yourself and your own actions? If the cause is you, only you can eliminate it.
Step 7
Remember that sometimes in life there are times when it is simply impossible to deal with your psychological state on your own. There is nothing wrong with seeking help from a qualified and experienced professional.
