A bitter truth is always better than a sweet lie. Everyone knows this since childhood. Therefore, you need to be able to speak this truth, no matter how unpleasant it may be.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to gradually begin to get out of lies and invented illusions, one should study what kinds of truth are there. And gradually start telling it to yourself and those around you, so as not to be deceived and not disappointed later.
Step 2
First level.
The ability to tell the truth about yourself.
For example, a girl considers herself slim. In this case, figure flaws will be pronounced. She can be beautiful, well-groomed, stylish, but definitely not slim. However, she wears mini skirts and tops. Well, she's slim! And then she wonders why there are no good photos where she is as a model. There will be no such photos! Self-confidence is good. But you need to admit the fact that you are overweight and either choose appropriate clothes to emphasize your dignity, or make a decision - to lose weight, but not engage in self-deception.
Step 3
Second level.
The ability to tell the truth to yourself about another person.
For example, a girl is in a relationship with a guy who loves her. And she, too, thinks she loves him. But he's cute, good. There is nothing more to think of. She happily meets other guys. And he forgets about his boyfriend on vacation. They generally do not spend their free time together. She doesn't remember him. It is time for her to admit to herself that she does not love him, and, with her lies, only makes it worse. She devastates the partner. After all, feelings are unrequited. Although, each of them could find love and become happy.
Step 4
Third level.
Ability to tell the truth to another person about yourself.
People often hide the truth about themselves because they are afraid of being misunderstood or becoming outcasts. But the more they lie, the more confused they become. Moreover, no one calls on everyone to tell the truth about themselves from tomorrow. This can shock people. But still, you should not lie too much, so that later you do not get entangled in your own lies.
Step 5
For example, a student studies well, but eventually realizes that he chose the wrong specialty. It's getting harder and harder to study. Each pair is a torment. And what will happen next? Will the student start skipping classes? If this happens, then he will be forced to deceive classmates, teachers, the dean's office, and, most importantly, himself. That is, in order not to deceive another, one must not deceive oneself. The student must admit to himself that his absences are not trivial fatigue, but a premonition that he has chosen the wrong path. Therefore, you need to decide what to do next, and not deceive others and yourself. You can either drop out or take an academic leave and think about everything. There is nothing wrong with leaving an institute you don't like to study at. Not everyone can be engineers, doctors, economists.
Step 6
Fourth level.
Ability to tell the truth to another person about another person.
It should be noted here that everyone has their own truth, so it is subjective. In addition, if you don't like something in a person, then you don't need to express everything right away. So there will be no friends at all. You just need to be a little more honest so that the other person does not create illusions. For example, two girls are talking. One thinks they are friends. And the other is not. This is because the first one says unpleasant things, hurts, insults with words, without realizing it herself. And the second does not dare to tell the first that she feels bad from such communication. If the second girl immediately said that it hurts her to hear about the happy life of her ex-boyfriend once again, that she doesn't need to be introduced to anyone, and she doesn't need to be taught how to live. Then it would be more honest. And so it turns out one hypocrisy, gradually turning into hatred.
Step 7
Fifth level.
The ability to tell the truth to everyone about everything.
If a person has passed all four levels, then he learned to live without lies, stereotypes and illusions, which means he became freer.
