You can rehearse your speech at home as much as you like. And going out in public, get lost and mumble. If this happens, the situation is not at all hopeless. It is enough to take some preparatory measures.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure your soul is free. Phenomena such as anger, non-forgiveness, hatred can interfere with your communication with the public. It is difficult to master the art of oratory if there is a heavy stone on his heart. The orator always conveys to the audience the state of his soul. Standing in front of people, many begin to feel constrained, there is not enough openness, joy, and daring. If this happens and you understand that the reason is within, ask for advice from believers. Free your soul to always be in a "flight" state.
Step 2
Make good preparations. To speak in public with heart is not enough to hope for inspiration. There are good spontaneous speeches, but behind them lie years of preparation. Randy Push in his book "The Last Lecture" said that although he was used to speaking without pre-written speeches, he prepared for the last speech for 4 days. During this time, he looked through 300 photographs and dozens of illustrations, in order to select some of them as examples and show on slides. On some, he wrote sayings or various advice. All this helped him during the speech to remember what he wanted to convey to the audience. Good preparation gives the inner confidence that you did the best you could. Prepare as conveniently as possible. Maybe you just need a speech written entirely on paper. It all depends on personal preference and other factors.
Step 3
Get your appearance in proper condition in advance. If you tend to worry about a speck on your boot, then these thoughts will haunt you during the performance. And therefore, your shoes should look impeccable so that there is no reason for inner stiffness. However, try to perceive yourself with some humor, even if something went wrong.
Step 4
Come to the venue in advance and stand on stage. Find something good in the hall that warms your soul. Get your gaze on something that will help you find peace later. This could be a painting on the wall, a doorknob, or some other minor detail that can be seen from the stage. So the place of the performance will become "yours" for you, something spiritual will immediately appear.
Step 5
Tell me everything you came to this place for. Let your soul out towards people like a sunbeam.
